12 plot holes in the COVID narrative that feel like a poorly written episode of Doctor W.H.O (part 1 of 3)

Ever see a TV show or movie where the storyline contradicts itself? Ever read a novel where it reads like the editor was in a coma?

That’s how life feels to me these days. Our personal experience, data and immunity experts are saying that COVID-19 is little worse than the common flu; while the media, government and just about every other commercial is proclaiming that we must submit to a new (ab)normal in order to avoid millions of deaths.

I have 12 examples of why the official story seems so questionable:

1. The WHO claimed this “novel” virus would kill 3.4% of those infected. Instead, it’s averaging 0.2% — only a tad worse than any previous coronavirus (which causes the common cold). Why has the Prime Minister not admitted this? “WHOops,” Trudeau could say outside (or, hey, even inside!) Rideau Cottage, “I guess we over-reacted a little. Time to get a haircut!”

2. Since the infection/fatality ratio is so low why are they continuing to quarantine healthy people, shut down businesses, wear masks and advise (anti-)social distancing? Do they think we like being poor, muzzled and lonely?

3. Immunology 101 says that quarantining healthy people makes their immune systems weaker due to lack of exposure to germs. “As we all come out of shelter-in-place, with a lower immune system and start trading viruses and bacteria, what do you think is going to happen? Disease is going to spike,” warns Dr. Dan Erickson of Accelerated Health Care in Bakersfield, California. Why weaken the entire population to (possibly) protect a tiny minority of vulnerable people who may die anyway? Why would we do this to our children?

4. Why is the Canadian government wasting $30 million dollars on advertising (propaganda) telling us to stay at home, wash our hands and stand six feet away from our grandmother? Even the National Post admitted that “[COVID-19 is] appearing less menacing than first thought, maybe more like seasonal flu than, say, SARS.” Why are they censoring leading scientists to protect their narrative? Why are they deleting videos from YouTube? Do we live in China or Canada?

In the next instalment I share four more reasons this COVID-19(84) story feels like one of those really bad episodes of Doctor Who. If Coronavirus was a TV series it would probably be getting horrible reviews for the glaring plot holes.
