The WHO was worried about hospitals being overrun.
Their solutions? Overrun the food banks instead.
Amidst all the election coverage on CNN, this article about new normal poverty on their site may have gone unnoticed:
“Food insecurity has also doubled this year because of the pandemic, and the problem appears to be getting worse as the crisis rages on. In August the Second Harvest Food Bank in Orange County, California, served more than 4.4 million pounds of food — more than twice as much as the organization served before the pandemic, according to CEO Herald Herrman.”
Because of the pandemic? Seems more like the politicians are at fault. The virus isn’t stopping people from going to work.
Crisis rages on? A crisis of wonky PCR testing and an epidemic of sensationalism coming from media like the CNN.
