Why I'm not celebrating
Canada Day today

Friday, July 1, 2022

Waving Canada's red and white flag has become a symbol of the Canadian freedom movement pushing back against COVID mandates, digital ID enslavement, climate change tyranny and the woke apocalypse.

But, personally, it's hard for me to wave the flag of my country anymore.

What has Canada become in the last two plus years? A totalitarian regime ruled by a lying dictator who has abused, stolen from, imprisoned and killed its citizens through lockdowns, debt and forced experimental injections.

And this regime wasn't the result of election fraud or a coup d'état. Instead, citizens freely voted our tyrannical prime minister into power three times in a row; with an opposition that more-or-less supported his "safe and effective" leaps into a medical police state.

Canada is no longer, if it ever was, the "true north strong and free." Freedom is now considered a bad word; and truth is labelled as conspiratorial misinformation.

Maybe the red maple leaf still represents strength and freedom. And certainly a "fringe minority" of us are holding to that ideal.

But I won't be waving a flag today on Canada's 155th birthday.

Instead, I'll continue doing my best to be strong, waving the flag of truth, as I try to wake up my fellow Canucks (and people around the world) through my novel, writings and other acts of activism.

PS Yesterday, Strong and Free Canada released a new interview with Brian Peckford, the co-creator our Charter of Rights and Freedom, talking about "the ongoing battles with censorship, discrimination and the breakdown of justice Canadians are facing." You can view it here.

PPS Talking about the self-imposed dystopian farce in Canada, I was interviewed on Australia's Today's News Talk Radio on Wednesday. You can listen to the recording here.
