Down some colourful,
oily rabbit holes...

Monday, August 8, 2022

I managed to convince Jordan Henderson — the rather introvert artist who painted the cover of Much Ado About Corona — to join me tonight on Today's New Talk Radio with Hrvoje Morić.

At first he'd protested: "But everything I have to say is in my paintings."

"And everything I had to say is in my 150,000-word novel," I retorted. "But for some reason they still want us to say more. It is talk radio after all."

So both Jordan and I will be talking about the turbulent creative process we went through coming up with the cover for my dystopian novel. He nearly pulled out all his long hair, and his beard, too. At one point, Jordan even suggested I hire a photographer instead, and that he'd go back to barnyard animals.

We'll also be going deep down some of the colourful rabbit holes hidden just beneath the oil-based surface of Jordan's other COVID-19 paintings.

That's tonight at 7pm EST. Visit TNTRadio to find out how to listen in. And visit JordanHendersonFineArt.com to see the dissident paintings we'll be discussing.

PS And if for some reason you have something better to do tonight than listen to two introvert creative types interpret  fine dystopian art, you can hear the replay on The Hrvoje Morić Show's "listen back" page.

PPS By the way, did you know Jordan Henderson is the reincarnation of George Cruikshank? Find out who Cruikshank was and see my sketchy evidence supporting this outlandish claim in this older post.
