Stephen King’s Secret to Success
Wednesday, September 14, 2022
Horror novels are generally something I avoid, but Stephen King's book
On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft wasn't scary at all. Instead, I found it hard to put down.
In its pages,
the world's fourth richest author explained that his success came down to two factors:
I stayed physically healthy… and I stayed married... The combination of a healthy body and a stable relationship… has made the continuity of my working life possible.
In the same spirit, I've just published a
new page on my website titled...
...where I share:
- The story of how we met on the longest street in the world (without anybody introducing us).
- How Nicole's long battle with type-1 diabetes and kidney failure didn't stop her from fulfilling her dream to be a mother.
- Some close calls with death, including our trip to Mexico just prior to the COVID scamdemic.
Read all that, and more about my Red-Headed Sunflower (including why I call her a Sunflower), by heading over
here.

PS We've been married 19 years, known each other for 22. That goes back to before digital photography. So you're gonna see plenty of photos I had to scan in from our photo albums dating back to 2002.
