Mystery Model Revealed in
Henderson's Latest COVID-19 Painting

Saturday, January 21, 2023

Referring to Jordan Henderson's latest COVID-19 painting, one of my trusty proofreaders, Gywneth Cann, pointed out: "Interestingly, the face of the white coated doctor(?) bares a striking resemblance to the actor Donald Sutherland who played the lead role in the remake of Invasion of the Body Snatchers."

I wrote Jordan to ask if it was so. His response: "I love the interpretation, it's great. But alas no, I've never seen the Body Snatchers... Mostly I was playing on mid-century horror, sci-fi, pulp fiction, and yes B-Grade movies. A lot of that artwork really was great in its own right in my view."

So, if not Donald Sutherland, who was the model? Jordan reveals: "The model is my go to, always has my same schedule, dirt cheap, knows exactly what expression and body language I want, model — me."
