Urgent: Please Help Counter This Smear Piece

The head instructor at the martial arts studio my son and I attend has been charged with making child pornography. Who accused him? A wife beater.

Sensei Chuck rescued a woman from an abusive situation and brought her to a safe house. Her husband vowed to ruin his life.

He's doing a good job at keeping that vow.

The police arrested Sensei Chuck back in December, brought him to the station, assigned a hearing and then let him go. Obviously, if they had any evidence that he was making kid porn they wouldn't have just let him go back to teaching kids in his private martial arts studios — as he has been doing since 1989.

Anyway, the newspaper got hold of the story and published a smear piece. As you can see it's totally lopsided and sensational reporting with no statement taken from the accused.

My son and I showed up at the studio Tuesday night and 90% of the students were gone. Another example of people mindlessly overreacting to the media. Sensei Chuck was also fired from his day job at the YMCA. So no income, lawyer fees and thirty years of serving the community being snuffed because some wife beater said he's into paedophilia and some reporter wanted to create a sizzle.
