Artificial Intelligence meets Atlas Shrugged

for Ayn Rand's masterpiece novel

Blazing Reader

The Atlas Society has created a trailer for Ayn Rand's novel, Atlas Shrugged. Combining real-life models and the latest in AI, this four-minute animation is a work of art in itself. The script is as captivating as the fluid, three-dimensional images themselves.

I couldn't help laughing at how buffed they made Hank Rearden look — considering the man was a workaholic, barely slept and never seemed to exercise. Likewise, Dagny Taggart looks like a super-model, despite her being a chain smoker who probably slept even less than Rearden.

Nonetheless, the trailer makes me want to read the book all over again. It certainly captures its quest for a society free of governments which loot the competent and reward the mediocre.
