Blazing Reader,
Today is Canada's birthday. The custom is to say "Happy Canada Day!" However, Canada is not in a state to be happy about. So I won't be wishing anyone a Happy Canada Day today. At least, not again (it already happened once, accidentally, but I'll be more vigilant).
Yesterday, I was at the local market. A vendor there commented on how Canadians were such a passive and gullible bunch that they might all go back to masking, lockdowns and vaccine mandates if the government and media started spreading a good bird flu pandemic story.
The dark side is well aware of the manipulative power of stories to control the masses. Indeed, it wasn’t facts and figures that spread the COVID lie, but a persistent narrative told over and over.
Researchers at the University of Western Australia have shown that even when a story is later revealed as misinformation it’s hard for our memories to let it go. Providing a retraction by detailing the facts was shown to have little effect in correcting the misinformation.
The best remedy, they found, was to tell a better, more plausible story.
That's why I wrote Much Ado About Corona — a novel about a group of small-town Canadians who refused to be compliant sheeple, aiding and abetting the demise of the true north strong and free. I hope we can work together to help make this a bestseller and shift the cultural zeitgeist (of not just Canada, but the world) towards courage and truth instead of passivity and gullibility.
The best story wins. Do you want to let the media continue to spread a pathetic story of how lining up for death shots, closing down businesses and being taxed into poverty is good and noble OR would you rather spread a story about individual freedom, responsibility and courage?
Why keep on giving your money and attention to entertainment (usually through the hypnotic movie or TV screen) that is making society weaker, more confused and ultimately enslaved? Instead, you could be awakening your own brain cells, imagination and sense of adventure by purchasing copies of Much Ado About Corona: A Dystopian Love Story for yourself, your friends and your family (regardless of which side of the political fence they lie).
And when you buy a copy of my novel, you now get two bonus gifts for free (just email me your receipt):
