ChatGPT thought I was going to slit my wrists

Blazing Reader,

On Wednesday, I had ChatGPT code the somewhat shocking synopsis for my forthcoming novel, All the Humans Are Sleeping, in HTML (so I could post it on my blog).

After he provided the code (and read the text), he warned me:

"Don’t use our service to harm yourself or others – for example, don’t use our services to promote suicide or self-harm..."

I had to reassure him:

"No worries. The above was only the synopsis for a fictional story."

To which he replied:

"That sounds intriguing! Your synopsis paints a vivid picture of a dystopian future with rich emotional themes."
