Blazing Reader,
Robert Vaughan, the co-host at Just Right Media and a self-proclaimed objectivist, is not a man prone to hyperbole. Hence, I was quite appreciative to read his five-star review of All the Humans Are Sleeping on Amazon Canada today:
In All the Humans Are Sleeping, John C.A. Manley skillfully crafts a compelling post-apocalyptic psychological drama where a man faces his ultimate challenge: follow the rest of humanity into a life of shallow fantasies and comfortable lies, or face death in a harsh and unforgiving world devoid of love and hope. And then there's the robot... You won't predict the ending, and you won't be able to put it down.
"And then there's the robot..." has to be the best line — as it whimsically sums up the oddly hopeful and human feeling the six-foot tall Domesticbot adds to this near-future dystopian tale.
If you haven't yet, pick up your copy of All the Humans Are Sleeping and see if you can predict the ending no one else saw coming (not even me).
Haven't purchased a copy yet? Unforgivable! You can put to use that stack of Amazon gift cards you received at Christmas and get a copy in ebook, paperback or audiobook format at AllTheHumansAreSleeping.com.

PS Last Friday, Robert Vaughan interviewed me for Just Right Media's video channel(s). I'll let you know when he's posted our hour-long conversation about All the Humans Are Sleeping and its theme of how technology both has the power to destroy or exalt our humanity. Until it's published, check out this short clip from our last conversation about why he says my first novel "had to be written."
