A cybernetic parody

Mon Mar 17 2025

Blazing Reader,

On Wednesday, I released my one-line single, "Mammas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cyborgs."

Many didn't realize it was a parody of the country western song, "Mammas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys."

In 1978 (the year I was born), "Mammas Don't Let You Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys" reached #1 in the country charts after Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson released their cover.

So if you were born after 1978, you have an excuse for not recognizing it.

Nonetheless, you can listen to this American classic here and listen to my cybernetic parody of it here.
