A Milestone Moment for "Resistance Fiction"
Blazing Reader,
Yesterday was another milestone moment in my harrowing climb along the steep path of an independent fiction author: I was interviewed by James Corbett of The Corbett Report, discussing "resistance fiction." We even read a chapter from All the Humans Are Sleeping with James performing the part of Domestico, the butlerbot (James' British accent was absolutely smashing).
I first discovered The Corbett Report in 2011, with James' video Everything you ever wanted to know about the 9/11 conspiracy theory in under 5 minutes (now a classic in whimsical counter-propaganda cinema). Since then, I've followed his work — becoming a paid subscriber in 2020.
Needless to say, it was a great honour to be invited on the show.
Our episode on "resistance fiction" is currently in post-production and won't be available for a while.
The Corbett Report YouTube channel has over 557,000 subscribers — so it should create a nice spike in book sales. Until then, if you are not already a Corbett Report subscriber, I encourage you to head over to CorbettReport.com for a 3D, apolitical look at geopolitics tempered with a healthy dose of humour. Beyond analysis, Corbett's podcast and essays offer many practical solutions that empower individuals and communities rather than your elected "representatives".

PS In particular, I encourage you to check out New World Next Week — a weekly production hosted by James Corbett and James Evan Pilato (yes, same names, same beards, definitely not clones), where they pick apart three news stories in about twenty minutes — all from a pro-liberty standpoint. Being a Blazing Reader, you may find story #2 on this week's episode, "UK Society of Authors Launch Logo To Identify Books Written By Humans Not AI," particularly interesting.
John C. A. Manley is the author of Much Ado About Corona, All The Humans Are Sleeping and other works of philosophical fiction that are "so completely engaging that you find yourself alternately laughing, gasping, hanging on for dear life."
