Website under attack, digital hiccups and a pesky mosquito

MuchAdoAboutCorona.ca has been receiving several cyberattacks. I can’t imagine why. Maybe they don’t like the Shakespearean web address? Some Yankees really hate ol’ Will.

Rest assured, the site was not penetrated and there were no trojans or malware added to the site. The attacks were slowing the site down, however. At no time were visitors’ information or computers violated (to my knowledge). Email addresses are stored safely on third-party system and were never at risk. The site has now been thoroughly scanned, with zero issues found, by SiteLock.

I’ve also paid for an expensive security upgrade. The upgrade put the site offline for over 36 hours; but it is now running again with maximum shielding.

A duplicate Red Pill email may have been sent out to some subscribers this morning. I apologize.  That was just the system having a hiccup as it came back to life.

In truth, I see it as a good sign the site has been under attack. I’m rather flattered that the powers-who-should-not-be may actually find my little site as a threat to their big agenda.

As the Dalai Lama says: “If you think you are too small to make a difference, try sleeping with a mosquito.” (Yes, yes, I know he’s a Marxist. No, not the mosquito. Well, maybe, the mosquito, too.)
