One musician has taken to YouTube to use his talents to spread propaganda about a “super bad transmittable contagious awful virus” via parodies of Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious and other classics.
Daniel Matarazzo introduces his songs about a virus “spreading like a plague” as “a fun little musical parody.” He sings that it’s “super damn important that we practice isolation” and criticizes Floridians for getting outdoors to golf and snorkel.
So what does he recommend one do instead? In Just Stay Inside Matarazzo sings:
“I wanna stream, wanna binge watch Hulu
All from the comfort of home, I’ll catch up on MTV…
Flippin’ through channels is not so hard,
Try HBO or Pay Per View, you
have the whole world at your hands,
so please don’t go outside.”
Ah, what could be better for the health of modern civilization — as we battle heart disease, diabetes and depression — than binge watching for three months of lockdown?
Maybe some skilled musicians out there could start exposing COVID-19 propaganda by producing red pill parodies of the same classics.
