"If I had a flower for every time I thought of you..."

Today marks a full lunar cycle since my wife's passing.

On Saturday, about fifty family and friends held a memorial service for her. Here's the front and back cover to the full-colour, 12-page program, containing a quote from Tennyson which sums up how I feel about her...

Nicole didn't want a formal funeral service. She didn't even want a memorial service. But ever since she started dancing with death (back in 2019) she would often tell me, IF you do have a memorial service I'd like you to play..." And then she'd add a new song to the list.

So our unorthodox memorial service was a combination of recorded and live music, a short reading from The Bhagavad Gita, interspersed by friends and family coming to the stage to share memories. Two hours seemed like twenty minutes, with so many people commenting how unique and lovely they found the event.

I'll be posting a video of the recording soon. Until then, you may enjoy downloading a copy of the programme. It has the lyrics to all the music we played. You can find any of these songs online. It also contains many more photos of Nicole.
