TODAY: Join Us For the
First-Ever Corbett Report Livestream
Blazing Reader,
In less than five hours, I'll join James Corbett for a livestream of the newly resurrected Film, Literature and the New World Order podcast (to discuss Harry Turtledove's Powerless).

In fact, even typewriters are hard to come by in this alternative history where America is run by a Soviet-inspired government that stifles free and open communication.
Fortunately, open communication is still legal in our timeline, and we hope you'll join us — even if the hour may be an odd time for many people. With James streaming out of Japan, and me in the Netherlands, today's intercontinental livestream starts at:

P.S. If you missed it, check out my three-part review of Harry Turtledove's Powerless: The Day Charlie Simpkins "Tired of Giving Lies a Helping Hand".
P.P.S. You can also read (as one long post) the same review on Goodreads.
John C. A. Manley is the author of Much Ado About Corona, All The Humans Are Sleeping and other works of philosophical fiction that are "so completely engaging that you find yourself alternately laughing, gasping, hanging on for dear life."
